Meet David Michael Halliwell, an acclaimed artist hailing from London, England. With a passion for fine art and graphic design, he studied at the prestigious Barking College of Art on a full scholarship from 1966 to 1969. It was during this time that his talent and creativity began to shine, and his oil paintings were quickly recognized and exhibited at renowned galleries such as the Mercury Gallery and John Whibley Gallery from 1970 to 1974.
In pursuit of new opportunities and experiences, David made the bold decision to move to Canada. Since his arrival, he has continued to captivate audiences with his art, showcasing his works in prominent cities such as Toronto, Victoria, Esquimalt, and the Salt Spring Art Centre, to name just a few.
Not only is David an accomplished visual artist, but he also had the pleasure of lending his artistic skills to the world of literature, illustrating a book for the esteemed Penguin Books.
Now calling Victoria, BC his home, David cherishes every moment spent with his lovely wife Junie. He finds joy in writing and performing music, as well as in creating art that brings him personal fulfillment and entertains others.
